Musings of an old guy.
Went to a breakfast café today. Food was great. While I was there a family came in with two small boys. Both of them were involved in their tablets, but one of them was loudly sing/song invested in whatever it was he was doing. So, I walked over and shared with the mom (I guessed, and was right), that I thought the younger son was ADHD. She suspected and shared that he was already diagnosed as on the autism spectrum. I shared with her some of what I had gone thru with my sons and that her son might not need a prescription for ADHD meds and possibly could manage his distracted and energetic behavior with caffeine and not all the heavier meds. She thanked me and left. Felt pretty good.
